Kashmiri Mince Ball (Kofta) Gravy Recipe

Kashmiri Mince Ball Gravy recipe by Gulzar Hussain. This Main Course Gravy recipe can be prepared in few Minutes and good to serve People. Follow all the steps suggested by Chef to get a ideal Recipe.


Ingredients:

Chicken mince 1 KG
Onion 2
Eggs 2
Bread slice 2 – 3
Crushed garlic 2 Tablespoon
Kashmiri chili paste 2 Tablespoon
Cumin powder 1 Teaspoon
Crushed black pepper 1 Teaspoon
Baking powder ½ Teaspoon
Oil for fry
Salt to taste
For gravy:
Tomato pulp 1 cup
Kashmiri chili paste ½ cup
Yogurt 1 cup
Turmeric powder 1 Teaspoon
All spice powder 1 Teaspoon
Cumin powder 1 Teaspoon
Ginger garlic paste 2 Tablespoon
Chopped onion 2
Oil 3 – 4 Tablespoon
Salt to taste

Method :

  • In a pan add onion to cook on high flame for 1 minute.
  • Add 1 kg chicken mince, 2 to 3 bread slices, 2 fried onion, 2 eggs, 2 tablespoon crushed garlic, 2 tablespoon kashmiri chili paste, 1 teaspoon cumin powder, 1 teaspoon crushed black pepper and salt to taste in a food processor to make mixture.
  • Now make balls from mixture and lightly fry them.

For gravy:

  • In a pan heat 3 to 4 tablespoon oil and fry 2 chopped onions until it turns light brown.
  • Add 2 tablespoon ginger garlic paste and fry for 1 to 2 minutes more.
  • Add 1 cup tomato pulp and 1 cup whisked yogurt.
  • Add 1 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon all spice powder, 1 teaspoon cumin powder and sauté it.
  • When it become dry and oil separates.
  • Add water as required with mince balls and cook on low flame for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Dish it out decorate with green coriander and serve it.
